Altron appoints Cedric Miller as CFO

With effect from May 1.

South African technology group, Altron, has appointed Cedric Miller as CFO effective from May 1, the company announced on Thursday.

Miller, who has been member of a number of board and executive committees within Standard Bank, “has a strong commercial acumen and a proven record of delivering insights into strategy implementation and executive decision-making in high-performance teams”, Altron said.

Miller’s most recent capacity in the Standard Bank Group has been as CFO for Personal and Business Banking (Global). Previously, he was the CFO for the Global Investment Banking division within Standard Bank and has also occupied the position of Chief Operations Officer of Standard Bank’s subsidiary in Argentina.

Andrew Holden, Altron’s chief operating officer, would step down as acting finance chief at the end of April, the group said.

“The board expresses its appreciation to Andrew for assuming this additional role over the past number of months. The board furthermore welcomes Cedric to his new role and looks forward to his contribution to the Altron Group.”
